Hi Guys

I am trying to finish my visa application on the cic website. I kept submitting my application but I get the same message coming up.

"Your answer is incomplete. Provide the necessary information below to continue.
The name, date of birth or country of birth you entered for your signature does not match the name you entered in your Online Application. To submit this Online Application, the names must match. Only the applicant can electronically sign this Online Application."

I have check all my details and they are all correct. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I have sent it all away in the post as well to the high commission in London so hopefully that works if I can't get the online thing to work.

I fly out to Canada on the 1st of May and its looking like I won't have my visa in time. I'm planing on taking a print out of all my visa applications and relative information with me so I can prove when I land that I am in the process of getting it sorted. Is this a good idea? I'm hoping they can sort it on the spot

Any information on this topic would be great

thanks
Jake

Hey Jake,
You need to make sure all the information you entered matches everything on your passport and make sure it matches up with everything you entered in your kompass account.
Put N/A in any spaces you may have left blank, ie current occupation etc
If you don't have your visa by the time you are flying out you can print out your conditional letter of acceptance and show that to the immigration officer, doesn't hurt to have a return flight and proof of funds as well.
There is a facebook group page dedicated to answering all questions about the IEC
"Canada IEC 2012" is the name of the group.
There are some brilliant responses, and answers to every question you can think of regarding the IEC.
Good luck
