Hey Guys,
So I went to Canada in 2010 on a WHP from Australia. Man easy times then.
I submitted everything in mid-late April online using myCIC for stage 2. Didn't realize a traffic history was required as well, so got the message today saying that was needed. Went and got it done nice and quick, scanned and then went to upload. Upload went fine, but I haven't got a new submission confirmation. The item appears in green as provided when I review the checklist, but I'm not 100% sure that its been resubmitted and it doesn't give me the option to sign and submit again. Can anyone confirm that its not meant to issue a new submission confirmation?
Also, any word on processing times? Is the 2 months quoted for the Sydney office from when you post things in originally? Or from initial submission? Or from today? I've got flights booked for June 21st on account of employment starting the next day. I'm a bit stressed that I might not make the cut.
Further to that, if I don't have my LOI by then, there's no reason why I can't enter on a visitor visa (and not work of course) then leave the country (probably down into the states) when my LOI arrives and promptly re-enter?
Cheers,
One stressed Australian.
