Hi all. So I know I have to show cbsa my bank statement and it must have more than 2500 for just the ticket I believe. How much is the most ideal amount of money?
The problem is, my BMO account is conjoint with my partners. And since the TFSA account is under his name and only me as a beneficiary, my account can't see it. But that's where 8000 cad is at. In my normal account it only shows 2700ish cad.. (after I purchase health insurance and etc my amount would go down from 5000 Cad to 2700.) That's probably not satisfactory. What should I do in regards to my bank? Could I mention us being conjoint, or get a statement from bank showing that I'm the beneficiary under his TFSA account? Or should I print off statement first before spending money on insurance, hence showing 5000cad instead?
