Hello,
I am from Germany and I am in the middle of the applying process for a working Holiday visa (IEC). I already got a Conditional Acceptance Letter (IEC). Now I am gathering the documents I need to submit to CIC.
I have a couple of problems and I would be really grateful if someone could help me!
1) I can't save my IEC Conditional Acceptance Letter. I have tried it on several computers. It keeps telling me that I can only save a blank form. I can print it. So I was wondering if I should print it, scan it and then upload it to MYCIC. Or would that be a problem? I need it for the MyCIC application. Has anyone had experience with that?
2) I also have to upload a digital photo. The final size of the photo must be at least 35 mm x 45 mm. The size of the head, from chin to crown must be between 31 mm and 36 mm.
That is exactly how the printed version of my photo looks like. I also got a CD with a digital version. On this CD, the final size of the photo is bigger than 35 x 45 mm and consequently the head size is bigger, too.
I was wondering if that is a problem. I don't wanna scan the printed picture as the quality is really bad.
The size of the image (kB) and the physical dimensions (Pixels) are the way they should be on the CD.
3) As I am from Germany I don't need a Medical Exam. But I did one because I might consider working in the Health System.
I found a doctor on the CIC Homepage and went there. I got an Information sheet. On my CIC checklist it says:
"In order to submit your online application, you will need to upload either the inforamtion printout sheet, or the IMM1017B Upfront Medical Report form. Your doctor will give you one of these documents when you complete your medical exam"
I got the Information Sheet and on the sheet it says:
"If you have not yet lodged a visa application, you must provide the health identifier on the top of this letter (e.g. UMI, UCI, IME) to CIC. Please make sure that you attach this letter to your visa application before submitting the form to CIC. This will faciliate processing of your visa application"
I don't understand that. I haven't got a MY CIC account yet as I wanted to gather all documents first (like they told me on the checklist). As far as I understand everything, I just have to upload the Medical Information Sheet and then submit all my documents and my application form to CIC.
But here it sounds like there is a step inbetween. What do they mean "attach this letter to your visa application before submitting the form to CIC"??? On the sheet, there is a UMI number.
4) I just wonder how long it takes to create a CIC Account? Only a couple minutes? Hours?
Thank you so much for your help!
I am very nervous about everything!
Greetings, Hannah
