IEC insurance 1 or 2 yrs

hey guys just wondering what insurance did u get? Im australian so I am eligible for 2 years, shopping around and its quite pricey, does anybody know if 1 year insurance + intention of extending be ok at the border to grant me the full 2 yr, Im just tryna cut down cost as much as possible but dont want to jeopardize my full visa permit , does anyone know of a good quote or by personal experience if 1 year is ok without too much hassle?

unfortunately if you land with only one year the CBSA officer will likely only give you a 1 year work permit and that would be it no extension. Apart from medical cover the main thing with the insurance is to cover repatriation if required to home country something not easy to get with a Canadian based policy.
