IEC - Awaiting acknowledgment of receipt after 6 weeks!!

Hi,

I applied with my partner for a working holiday visa through the IEC programme on the 6th January.

My partner has recieved an email response to acknowledge her documents have been received on the 6th Feb and has now also received a further email to request payment as her application was successful. I am still awaiting an email to confirm my application has been received with the IEC and am now deliberating sending a second application as I'm worried my documents have been lost...!! However I'm concerned if i do this and my first application has been received I could risk being rejected..

Has this happened to anyone..? Does anyone have a number to call or someone to contact.. I'm getting desperate! Help!!

My advice would be just call them and be insistent that they kindly put you through to someone.

In my opinion it's a little unfair they don't take calls for situations like this. Sure, they're really busy at this time of year, but what about any other business in peak season? They can't just turn around and say they can't be reached.

Good luck, let me know when you receive it. I am also waiting for my acknowledgment of application and I sent mine over 3 weeks ago.

I'm waiting 4 weeks since my receipt of application, any update on your situations. I'm getting so fed up waiting for this
It would be fine if i knew how long it was going to take just to be able to relax, i can't make any plans in case i hear and have to book flights, any info you have would be great....
