IEC 2nd year Visa application

Hi, does anyone know when submitting the 2nd application for the International Experience Canada Visa, do we sign the back of the 2 photos? I am just attaching them in their envelope. Also, it doesnt say but I assume we dont send a copy of our current Visa.

Do we make the payment when they assess our file and if we get accepted?

you have to have both photo's signed. they will contact you when payment is due
