IEC 2015 timeline

I looked around for a 2015 IEC thread but couldn't find one; so decided to start one to track applicant's processing / timelines.

I'm at stage 2 (work permit application), however it has been 50 days since I submitted the application but I haven't received the LOI yet. All other IEC applicants, please share your timeline if you're waiting or if you've been successful !

April 14: Applied for CAL through Kompass
April 15: Got WTN
April 16: Submitted all documents
April 30: Received CAL
May 7: Submitted work permit application through MyCIC
June 26: 50 days since submission; haven't received LOI
Application status online: Open

My application is also overdue, I contacted MyCIC by phone (I am currently in Canada) they said the would put a note on my file to be processed (probably does nothing to actually speed up the process) and was asked not to call again.

Will let you know when it comes through

April 24th: Received CAL
May 4th: Submitted work permit application through MyCIC
June 18th: Phoned CIC, they confirmed the application was taking longer than the nromal processing times, attached a note to my file to be processed quickly
June 29th: Still waiting

Checked online today and it has come through! I was also reading Gemma Taylor's comments on her blog (offtrack travel) and she mentioned that CIC was apparently not prepared for the deluge of applications due to the reduced 14-day timeframe for work permit submission. Before 2015, the timeframe was 60 days and helped CIC with processing. Consequently they're unable to meet the 42-day processing standard. Some applications are taking as long as 60 days, so hang on for another week.

Mine recently took just under two months to process in stage two.
