Identity and Civil Status Documents

Hi guys,
I've never been married or common law. Do I still need a certificate or something legal to prove my civil status? I'm sending a copy of my birth certificate but please let me know about the civil status.

You need Marriage Certificate as well.

Just to clarify...I'm not married and never been. My status is single or never married... do I need a certificate for that???

Sorry , I overlooked that .. Only Birth Certificate is enough, if single.
