i am canadian citizen, sponsoring my husband. we are living in dubai.

under identity and national status document what should we send?

1)they are asking for birth certificate , so we will give them notarized photocopy of birth certificate.
also, do we have to send them photocopy of his national identity card? and should this copy be notarized?

2) they are asking other official document confirming relationship for you and each of your family members.
(including all pages of Household Registries, except CIS residents).

so should we have to send them any evidence showing prove of my relationship to my husband?
(but we are sending them our original marriage certificate under prove of your relationship to sponsor)
so thats why i think i dont have to send them anything. But i can still send them my dubai family visa. any suggestion please

3) also, they are asking also under identity and civil status docs they are asking if u are married or have been married provide photocopy of marriage certificate, so should we have to send photocopy of our marriage certificate here as well.

4)if the true translation of our marraige certificate is notarized, can we take a copy of that and attach it here? (but the copy itself is not notarized?)

I would be interested in the answer of these questions too :) (mainly 1) and 2) )

-> do I need copies of both birth certificate and national identity card (which is basically amost the same like the passport)- and does it have to be translated??? The headings include english, but the eye colour and my citizenship are written in German...

Thanks!

You should not send original documents to Cic.
The documents you send should be photocopies of original documents as long as they are in English language. In case they are not in English, then you need to send notarized translations of the documents, those will usually include a true/certified copy of the original.
It is true for both id, national ids, marriage certificate and other documents requested. Check your country specific checklist for any special requirements, some countries do have those.
