If you are no longer a citizen of the other country, then that passport is no longer valid......

To meet Canadian passport ID requirements, you need to have a valid ID that includes your name, date of birth, photo, and signature. Acceptable documents include1234:
  • Canadian passport or other travel document (refugee travel document or certificate of identity)
  • Photocopy or original of a document supporting your identity (signed and dated by a guarantor or signing official)
  • One piece of photo identification issued by a Canadian federal, provincial, or territorial government
  • Two pieces of identification issued by a Canadian federal, provincial, or territorial government (both must have your name, and at least one must have your full name and date of birth)
Driver's License Health Card, etc.... only one document needs full name....And all ID is CANADIAN. You are applying for a Canadian Legal Document all things need to be from Canada, not other countries.
