ICT visa processing and stamping

Hi friends,

How long does it take to process visas for ICT's? I heard they have new rules on them. With 1 year of experience, how relaxed would t be for me to get a visa?
Also, I have a situation
I have my wedding fixed in November. My company is applying for my ICT in September. Assuming it takes 3 months, what do i do if they ask my passport? Cos, I will need my passport to travel to India.
