ICT Visa - Is it possible to sell photos on popular websites, sell apps?

Hi Everyone,

I'm here in Canada currently on an ICT visa working for an IT company. I'm also an amateur photographer. I'd like to know whether it is ok for me to have income from selling my photos on popular photo website like 500px and similar sites as I have seen significant interest in some of my photos. Also, same goes for smartphone apps. I make smartphone apps for iOS and Android in my spare time. Currently my apps are listed for free on Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Is it ok for me to earn income from selling these apps?

If anyone can point me to further reading/resources/websites where I can find some information that'd be great. Any information is highly appreciated.

As long as you're not selling to anyone in Canada - then yes.

Many thanks for your response! This is certainly doable in the app stores. But for websites that license photos to sell like 500px marketplace and pay royalties do not let you see/restrict buyers' country. Are such services exempt or it's better to avoid them altogether?
