Start at www.cic.gc.ca and take the assessment to see if you qualify. If you do, all the application information is there.

If you are looking for good material oppurtunities go to Capitalist USA and if you are looking for spiritual happiness and inner peace, welcome to Canada.

Hi there,

Sorry for late reply...

Hey ranjus, Thanks. I dont know how soon we'll be able to shift to Canada, i would say our timeframe would be 1 or 2 years...

Hey PMM - Thanks for URL. I'll check them out later on, before I take assessment to see we're qualify to stay in Canada!

I'm just wondering about my wife's indian passport & Visa...At moment she got a "indefinite leave to remain in the UK" Visa stamp in her Indian passport which means she had rights to stay in the UK for lifetime but within 2 years time from now, she can apply for a British passport!!. I've heard poeple said that it's much harder for Indian passport to have the rights to stay in USA or Canada? because of security reasons, even she had rights to stay in the Uk? what do you think guys?

For your information, I'm not worry about my passport, I've a British passport anyway, I should be fine!

Now my questions -

Should I wait till 2 year more for my wife to obtain a British passport - that would be much easier for her to stay in Canada rather then Indian passport?

or

What type of VISA is right for me and my wife stay in Canada for lifetime and both of us be able to work there?

Would anybody like to tell me what kind of life style it is like living in Canada or USA? which one is the best place to live for happiness, peace & well paid job.

I'm thinking of...

Toronto - Ca
Poughkeepsie - US

Any other city in Canada or US as long it's nice and warm weather all year around :D

I shall look forward to hear your reply!
Best Regards

Dear firduck,
if you have seen www.cic.gc.ca, then probably you have assessed your self for the eligibility.
Assuming that you are eligible and you apply now under FSW class to CIC London office, then it is going to take more than 30 months in London to finalize. In that case your wife will be able to get British Passport after two years.

Other quicker options are job offer/work permit and PNP. Since you have a britich passport, you can visit Canada and try your luck for workprmit. Then you can also get Provincial Nomination.

Again best advise is www.cic.gc.ca. Do some research and look for different options. Because you are the best judge of your available resouces.
Thanks
