Plz correct me on my mistakes on this letter about getting a visa to Canada as my wife sponsoring me from Russia. Thanks!

This is in accordance with my file (UCI Number:.........) for Permanent Residence in Canada. Kindly, I want to ask to process getting my Permanent Residence to Canada faster because I miss my spouse and she misses me. We want to start living our lives and having a good family together. In real life we need our each others support in any aspects of our lives.
In line with the above, if you deem that the documents are sufficient for my application, I would like to humanely request for the update on my file.

I don't wanna sound like a party pooper but that type of letter won't really help with the processing time. CIC won't decide to expedite your application because you miss your spouse.

- State that you miss your spouse MUCH MORE than other applicants do. It would be helpful to state the same about her, so they won't have any doubt.
- Send one happy picture of you two together and 2 sad pictures of you two apart to prove your above claim.
Make sure you both sign the letter and send the PDF to makemehappy@cic.noreply.ca

I hope you take no offense, but your post was too cute to pass on Unfortunately, there is basically a zero chance to expedite applications.

I believe all you are trying to do is to know what is happening to your application with cic, l will say that cic may not respond back to you if you are still within the processing time, you need to let us know your time line and also have a link with Russia thread. You need to also check the processing time from cic site. Below is a link to check. I hope this help.

Such a letter will NOT improve the processing time. It it did, everyone that misses their spouse/partner would have written one just like it.

As a matter of fact...it it were received/seen by someone at CIC that took offense, because you don't like how [not] fast they are working, that employee `could' push your application even further down in the pile.

There's nothing that you can do, except realize that with each passing day, you are closer to the finish line.

She is not offending anyone and stated it was a joke.
Unfortunately the letter won't work, everyone misses his/her partners and that's all.

It is through humor, irony and satire we can learn and make a world a little better and happier place. My post was in the lightest possible form of scrutinizing irony to show how illogical such letter would be and I don't believe it to be offensive at all (and certainly wasn't meant that way). Good afternoon,

I am contacting you to see if my husband’s application has been received.
I received Sponsorship Approval on June 1, 2015. Attached is the Sponsorship Approval letter.

As I understand the process, we are supposed to have received and Acknowledgement of Receipt of my husband’s application from the Visa Office in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
We have had no correspondence from the overseas visa office and don’t even know if his application has reached Trinidad.

We also understand there is a large volume of work for the Immigration staff at the Visa Office in Port of Spain, so we respectfully ask if we could know if his application was received. It would give us a peace of mind to know at least his application is in your staff’s capable hands.

I want you all to understand that certain action could make people do stupid things to themself, you call it a joke but to someone who take things personal, you make such person look stupid, and if you fail to see things from this pespective, l will understand your kind of person because making fun of someone and later says it's a joke doesn't make sense to me.
