let me know if Private degree of B.COM earned from recognized indian university can get points?
the candidate has not attended any college or university to do B.COM but has spent 3 years .

this question is important bcoz AEO as a book keeper is on table and just found that B.COM is private.

I guess, they would consider. A degree is a degree after-all.

I would try to answer this but I don't even know what you are talking about. You spend 3 years getting a degree but you never attend a college or university. Is this distance learning or something like that? If it's distance learning where you actually have to pass some tests or do some projects to get the degree, I would say it's a valid degree.

Thanks Leon. I wud go into full-details:

This 3 Year B.COM (Bachelor of Commerce) degree has been completed from a recongized indian university.
But no college/university attended in 3 years, it does not come under distance education where candidate attends distance learninig centre for some hours in a wk and appears in trimester exams.

This degree has been completed by studying at home and candidate appeared in yearly university exams.

Now pls shed some light on this. Whether it will be considered or not?

Yes, it is a distance learning programme where you give exam in the end of the year along with regular students. I have another quick question if you can please help:

Provide the details of your personal history since the age of 18.
Start with the most recent information. Under "Activity", write your occupation or job title if you were working. If you were not working, provide information on what you were doing (for example: unemployed, studying, travelling, in detention, etc.).

What is the significance of "ACTIVITY" really means - is it just the Job Title Example Head of IT or IT Manager OR Do we have have to describe ALL the job activities here (JOB Description)??

Please advice ASAP?

I would say this is a normal bachelors degree. Distance learning is an accepted form of study and you passed a test so I don't see a problem with it.

As for the activity. They just want something short, no need to put a full job description.

You can write it like:

Jan '99 - May '99 unemployed
Jun '99 - Aug '99 milking cows in the Swiss Alps
Sep '99 - May '00 studying cheese making at culinary school

Actually, you don't even need it that detailed. Milkmaid/man and studying would be enough for the last two.

I guess I will have to add an extra sheet of document in similar format if I have to put a brief after my job title under each activity. I have over 15 rows to define.

I made mine in excel if it helps. Easy to line up the columns.

Yes, I have prepared an excel (followed their format) and putting all the jobs one after another and writting down a brief under each job title.

PS: Does "HEAD OF IT" (which is my current title) is considered under NOC 213 or they are specific about "0213: Computer and Information Systems Managers" ??

Just write Head of IT since that is your title. Your job duties are more important than the title and you will include other documents explaining your job and duties.
