I have applied for a visitor visa, and today, on July 16th, I received the stamp. I have some questions and would appreciate clarification:

  • Date of Issue: June 19, 2024
  • Expiry Date: December 17, 2024
  • Number of Entries: One
  • Category: B-1 Visitor - Business
What does this mean if I want to visit Canada before December 17, 2024, for 3 days, and also need to visit for 4 days on January 25, 2025? Will this visa suffice for both trips, or will I need to apply for a new visa again?

It means you are allowed to enter Canada once on or before December 17 this year.

You will need to apply again for a new visa if you want to come in 2025.

It allows you one entry only before December 17. You need a new visa for 2025 unless staying in Canada from December 17 to January 25, and not leaving.

Why i got only 6 month validity visa and allowed only ONE entry
Is this for business? Did you include the date of your meeting? If so then IRCC gave you one entry for your meeeting. Your purpose is not tourism but business so IRCC believes that you should apply again if you want to come to Canada for another meeting.
