This mail is from Provincial Nominee Program, and the title of the mail is Permanent Residency Follow-Up Reminder

Good Day:

The Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism, Department of Advanced Education and Skills, has received notice from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that you (and your family members) have received your permanent residency. During the nomination process, we advise our clients of the requirement to contact us following receipt of their permanent residency.

You are receiving this email today to request that you provide the Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism a copy of your confirmation of permanent residency document and a copy of your permanent residency card (once the card is received). Please reply to this email and attach the requested documents and to update your personal contact information (addresses and telephone numbers).

We appreciate your cooperation!

“This email and any attached files are intended for the sole use of the primary and copied addressee(s) and may contain privileged and/or confidential information. Any distribution, use or copying by any means of this information is strictly prohibited. If you received this email in error, please delete it immediately and notify the sender.”

looks like a scam because as far as i know immigration have all the info about your address, phone and family information so they wouldn/t be emailing you and usually they contact you via phone or mail not emai but if i were you i'd call immigration and ask them about this email and they will tell you exactly what it is.

Did you register with the office of immigration, settlement and population in your province after you landed? If not, then it is probably genuine, but telephone them to check. If you are a PNP nominee you are required to visit the office of isp and let them know that you have arrived, at least, that what our province have told us.
