My brother is inviting his mother in law for 2weeks visit here in canada. The application was submitted already. The mother in law has provided proof of funds like bank account, land titles in her name, income tax returns and her proof of employment.
My brother has provided the letter of invitation, and will provide the mother inlaw's transportation and accommodation here in Canada.
The question: is this a good thing? Asking for additional document. The embassy sent a letter asking for proof of funds or copy of the canadian revenue agency notice of tax assessment from my brother?
Eventhough the person invited has enough proof of funds already. And the host is only providing transportation and lodging.
Coz last year when I invited somebody to visit Canada and she got refused, the embassy didn't ask me (host) for that proof of funds, they just sent the person I invited a refusal letter.
Thanks for your thoughts.
