hello! I need some advice. I'm planning to study in Montreal and I found out universities are very expensive for international students. Besides their masters degree needs GMAT test which I don't have and don't have much time too to take cause now they are already accepting application for fall semester. I ended up searching colleges and it's quite cheaper compared to university however it does not have masters degree. One of my prospect is Vanier college, it offers pre-university and career programs .
Perhaps taking 3 year career program in business administration major in Accounting and management technology is a good idea. I possessed bachelor's degree in Accountancy and a board passer in Philippines, and I have also 5 years of experience in related job. What I am worried about is since I graduated accounting course, does studying undergrad related program complicate things especially in convincing the Visa officer to approve my study permit? Embarrassed they say it should be related on my past education and work experience, and somehow that will add value to my degree. However undergrad for me is just a basic learning rather than expansion of knowledge. In addition, I would like to have a clue if I can get credits on my past studies to shorten the duration of program. Grin Grin Grin
I have another option in La salle college where they offered AEC-SME Accounting for 2 semester (4 months per semester) and maybe I will enroll again for another 1 year of related study to have 2 years in total to be eligible for a Post graduation work permit(PGWP) for 2-3 years.
Please help me Smiley any comments will be highly appreciated. Thank you.
