A full day counts no matter how many hours have I spent in Canada? And since there's like 5 hours that I would be spending flying in Canada (going from Vancouver to Europe) what time does it count, the time I left Vancouver or Canada, few hours later? I am guessing Vancouver but just to make sure;)
Thanks!

Hi

CIC counts any part of a day spent in Canada counts as one full day.

If you are counting the hours over Canada in the air then I think you are cutting it too close. Leave a couple of more days and then apply for PR Renewal or Citizenship.

For flights its best to use the departure day/time as a guide and not when the aircraft leaves Canadian airspace.

Agreed. Immigration will not be calculating at which times your plane left the airspace. Use the departure / arrival times instead.
