I have 2 years work experience with Rogers with a PGWP. My PGWP is expires in Oct 2012 but I sent in my application for CEC in March 2012 because it took time to obtain police certificates. Given the fact that I have already completed the medical exams, how long would it take for my application to be processed? And if my PGWP expires before a decision is made on, Can I buy more time from Canadian Government? Would I still be allowed to continue working or living in Canada? :-[

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Only God knows when your permanent application will be approved, However, you can extend your stay in Canada through the following options:
1. Get a visitor Visa ( it doesnt allow you to work)
or
2. Get a new work permit , but you will need to get a postive LMO (Labour Market Opinion)

Remember, if you decide to stay in Canada after your PGWP expires, you MUST maintain a LEGAL status.
