Hello Everyone...
I need you guy's help in making me understand what is required from my PCC

I am originally from another country but i have been visiting UAE on and off
So you could say within 3 years, i visited 3 times but all together was less than 6 months.

Then i went to UAE on a work permit and worked there for 2 years.

The PCC that UAE has given to me is covering only the 2 years i worked there on work permit and it was issued after i left the country.

Do i need to have PCC for the other times that i have visited there previously?

Any help would be kindly appreciated

In general, the PCC has to cover the entire time from your first entry to your exit (or be less than 6 months old).

HOWEVER, the instructions for the UAE clearance indicate that for non-citizens, a residence permit is a requirement to obtain the PCC. Visitors do not get residence permits, so - it is not possible to obtain something that the government does not issue.

You have 2 choices - submit the PCC with a letter of explanation. Or, simply submit the PCC and wait and see if IRCC requests anything further. I can't say whether one is better than the other, but you might expect to have to submit an explanation at some point...
