Hi Everyone! I just want to try my luck if any member have the same experience as mine that could give us advice.
I sponsored my husband to come here in Canada thru Family Sponsorship. He is currently working in Saudi Arabia and his past work is in Kuwait where he stayed from 2003-2005. As of today, Manila Visa Office has been processing his PR Application. Last week we received an email from CIC asking for his Kuwait PCC, they enumerated all the requirements and procedure on how to get one. The problem is his old/expired VISA and his old passport were already missing, what he has on hand is his copy of VISA application before. He tried contacting all his Filipino co-workers during his Kuwait time but all of them already left the country, so we lost hope in getting a representative to request the PCC in Kuwait on his behalf.
Before we submit the application, we've been working to get one but we end up inserting his Explanation Letter why we can't provide his Kuwait PCC as advised by a friend. It seems they want us to make more effort to secure it.
He stayed in Kuwait like 10 years ago and no intention of going back and never expected that he will still need it so he did not bothered looking for it. We tried sending email to Kuwaiti Embassy in Jeddah but our emails bounced back because of security reasons they only accept emails from certain senders. I called their number (long distance from Canada to Jeddah) but no answers, my husband tried calling them too but still no answers. We send an email to CIC for other options but we have not receive any reply from them yet. I also sent an email to Philippine Embassy in Kuwait if they can guide us, or at least issue a "no derogatory record" for him. Maybe this record will be accepted by CIC.
Is there other options that we can do or any other agencies that could help us? Please I desperately need your advice. Appreciating your help in advance. Ciao!
