Hi Bro,

I'm not an expert but you should consider following things in Study Plan
1.Educational background
2.Why you are interested in the course you opted for
3.Why you have selected CANADA for your education? why not other countries?
4.why you chose this college/university?
5.what is your future plan? (after completing your education)

You can add other things as well however I would suggest make it KISS (Keep it simple and sweet). :-*
No one like to read a lot specially VOs as they have so many things to verify.

You can google for sample SOP or study plan format.

Hope this helps. :) :)

Best luck for your VISA. :) :) :) :)

Hello,
I'm from Iran. Can someone help me correct my study plan?

Study Plan

• Why do you wish to study in Canada in the program for which you have been accepted? There are several reasons behind my decision. First of all, not only there are few universities in my country that offers M.Sc. program of Physics-Astronomy, but also they often teach physics courses instead of courses related to astronomy. In addition, it is impossible for us to work on research topics pertinent to our major due to the lack of astronomical equipment. Second, I applied for the other universities of United States too, but I chose Canada because Canada has an excellent educational system and many top ranked universities are located there. Furthermore, Canada is a diverse and inclusive nation and very liberal to race and ethnicity.• Your overall educational and career goals, and how studies in Canada will help you to achieve them
Mere working is not what I can imagine myself doing after I have finished my studies. I would like to apply for a job which involves doing research as well. Studying Physics-Astronomy in Canada will increase my chance to find very good jobs in my country, especially in the universities and the observatories. • Any additional factors (family, financial, experience, etc.) that you wish us to be aware of
My whole family lives here in Iran and I have no relatives at Winnipeg.I have lived my entire life with my parents in the same house and I am the only-girl child. Thanks to my parents, me and my brother have not face with financial and emotional problems until now,so leaving them for a couple of years will be hard for me and for my parents. Finally, I believe that my country is facing shortage of teachers and researchers in my field of study, so I think I and other students like me can help future students to study and do researches in astronomy while there are in their own country.

I think as a future Master student, here you should definitely say a couple words about your supervisor and potential research topics.
Opportunity to do research in the field of your interest under proper supervision IS the main reason why you accepted the offer from this university.

Here I would say something more general.
I believe experience gained in my Masters studies will give me a competitive advantage I need to pursue my career in research oriented environment.

Do not over-share any personal information.
Here it is more reasonable to mention your funding such as scholarships, TAs, RAs and so on.

Main idea: your answers should be short, clear and what is more important, supported by documents (LOA, funding letter and etc)

Good luck)
