While signing up to my EE profile I had to fill a questionnaire similar to the CRS tool to calculate my eligibility points. I put "6 years or more" working experience, however 3 of those years involve my personal business (which I have to be honest has been slow to grow). And while I have all my documentation I'm afraid to list it under my acquired work experience because of the scrutiny they give cases such as these. I am currently filling out my work experience in my profile and would like to ask the family.
1. Will it contradict my earlier input in the questionnaire if I put 3 years now
2. Will I lose any points for having just 3 years of work experience instead of the 6 I initially put in the questionnaire

Please advise!
Kind regards

1. If you are not claiming points for the work ex, you may put it in the personal history section.
Alternatively, before removing the work ex, check 67 points factors that you're still eligible - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers/six-selection-factors-federal-skilled-workers.html

2. No you get the same points for more than 3 years of work ex - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/criteria-comprehensive-ranking-system/grid.html
