i would just like to ask a question regarding my situation. i filled my FSW and recieved my AOR dated february 26, 2006, so its almost 3 years now....now that the immigration process is on hold (at least) and CIC is on the process of prioritizing people in the new law, i started appliying work in order to get an LMO, so that i can get to canada soon... now i got waht i wished for ang not im bound for saskatoon in about a month as a cnc machinist.... here are my inquiries..

1. if i get to canada i know what i have is a working visa, now will it affect my FSW application?
2. can my family go with me to canada even if i only have a work visa?
3. they say i will be eligable for saskatchewan provincial nomenee, what will happen to my FSW application once its approved?
4. do i have top choose wheather to widraw my FSW application and choose PNP
5. when is the soonest time can i get my family in case i get to canada first?
6. if ever i choose to be a PNP in saskatchewan, then my contract expires in the company im working, can i work in other provinces of canada besides saskatchewan?

I don't know the answers to all your questions but this I know.

Your family can come with you when you only have a work visa. Check out http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/faq/work/work-faq06.asp and http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/faq/work/work-faq08.asp

You will have to choose at some point whether to withdraw your FSW application or go for PNP. I believe you can still withdraw until it gets to the point of asking for medical records.

It should not take more than a couple of months to get the visa for your family to join you.

If you go with the PNP in Saskatchewan, it depends on what kind of contract you sign with them. As far as I know, the contracts don't force you to live in the province forever but asks you to make an attempt to settle down there. Obviously you can't leave until you have your PR but after your PR and your contract is up and you have a problem finding another job there but find one somewhere else, it is ok to leave.
