I read this forum every day and I would like to congratulate everyone because it is a very interesting and helpful.

I applied in Lima embassy

I passed the medical exams in Ago-07, in the same letter they asked me to send my passports (this call my attention because I read that the majority of you passed the medical exam after that they asked the passports and pay some fees but in my case they asked me to send my passports at the same time). The letter says that I have to wait 6 months in order to send a email. I would like to know if someone has or had a case similar to my case in order to get an advice.

Hi Carlos, I am also applying through Lima. It scares me when you say that you have been waiting since August 07 after your medical! I am here in Miami, got my AOR in May 2007 waiting to hear what the next step is. I am afraid that after going to Lima that I would have to wait so long between medicals and final process. I think you need to contact your lawyer! Maybe ask if the new proposed immigration laws (see March newsletter) are affecting your case. Please keep me updated with your time lines... also were do you plan to live in Canada? my email is zuma1971@yahoo.com
