i looked after elderly care almost 2 mos in ICU Hospital im under LCP,illegal?

I looked after elderly care shes 88 yrs old and had pulmonary hypertension that time, aortic transplant in BC and im in manitoba under LCP, we didnt move there we just went there for the operation am i illegal working? she passed away already but weve been in the Hospital for almost 2 mos. I need some answer so badly....as im going to apply my PR/OWP in couple of months...i need some insight pls....thanks
