1. My application is about to be sent, but I am confused I am applying under family class out of the country. I am being sponsor by my wife a Canadian. Do I need to provide with my birth certificate as is the requirement in the check list "Specific to a country" under section #6 "Identity and civil status". This seems to be to stablish relationship with your children and a spouce. I do not have children or previous spouce. I would just send it but since is not in english I will have to pay to have it notarized, so if is not necessary I do not want to spend for this cost.

2. Question Do I have to send all of our phone bills. We have a big pack since the begining of our relationship. So I do not know if they need all of them; we called each other mostly by calling cards, and sometimes direct calls.

3. We have a lot of pictures of our wedding, trips, etc. Do we have to write on the back of the pictures and describe what the date or occations was.

Please help. I am sorry I may ask dumb questions but I want to send the right information.

Thanks

1. Birth certificate, copies of passport, national ID card (if you have one), etc. If they are not in English or French, they must be translated by a certified translator (not notarized). This is absolutely necessary.

2. Send what you need to in order to prove the duration and consistency of your relationship. You don't have to send all of them, but make sure you document the whole period you were communicating.

3. It's a good idea, yes.

On the sending in your Birth Cert.
Do you send in a copy or the orgional? and I would document everything i could on the pictures, and send in the phone bills and the calling cards, that's what my husband and I are going to do.

I'm from the United States. Can I use the application on the web site? Or do I have to order the kit
for sponsoring a U.S. Citizen? I have printed all the application from the web site and I'm almost
finished filling out that form, and my husband down loaded the sponsorship kit from the web site
and he is almost finished filling out that one. Am I wrong for filling out the Generic one?
OMG! I don't want to send in the wrong application. Please help!!!!!

Use the one from the website and follow instructions for United States. You can write on them or fill them up online but you can't save them. I think when they ask for original it means it has to be signed with pen.

Where are the instructions for United States...........I don't see it on the web site.
Also has anyone ever gotten their application approved earlier than the 6 months that most
people are saying?
