I have completed 1039 days in Canada but my PR card is near to expiry

Hi! I have completed my 1039 days in canada but now my PR card is near to expiry. I will be applying for renwal soon.My question is when i can apply for citizenship after my card renews. Will my 1039 days would be counted in???or do i have to start again and complete 3 yrs out of 4?Pls help Thank you

It doesn't matter whether you have an expired PR card or a valid one, as long as you have 1095 days in the 3/4 years when you apply for citizenship/
