Hi All,
lI have left canada right after applying PR.
Now I have been outside Canada for 1 year. Can they stop me from entering the country? My PR is still valid.
Please please provide some information on this.

You did say you left after applying for PR. Did you actually land as a PR or just fill out the paperwork to apply for PR?

If you landed (activating your CoPR) and then left immediately for 1 year you are still well within your RO and there is no reason for them to stop you. If you have just renewed your PR card and you do NOT meet your RO then they could stop you and question you, however they will still let you in.

Thanks a lot for replying..
I landed on Sep2017 and completed by paper work for PR ans SIN and I left within 5 days.
I have not renewed My PR card..
Actually 2 days back my wife entered Canada and the officers start questioning to her why u left Canada ? R u SeriouS about the PR and etc etc. However, they have let her in.
Now I m planning to enter after 4 months ( Sep 2018) exactly after 1 year and I'm in a lot of strain / tension - what would happen if they stopped me.

You have a Charter right to enter Canada as a permanent resident. As there is no possibility of you failing to be in compliance with the residency obligation requirements, you can't even be reported. You can safely return to Canada and ignore any criticism from CBSA in September 2018.
