I have a valid PGWP, applied for entry visa and got V-1 instead of W-1

Hello, everyone!
I have a valid work permit, recently I applied for visa to enter in the border and got V-1 (visitor visa), however I thought I am going to have a W-1 (worker visa) cause when I was a student I had a S-1 TRV visa for students.

I am planning to travel in November and my question would I be able come back with my Work Permit and V-1 TRV visa?

There is a difference between Work Permit and a Visa. You need a TRV alongside a WP, that is why one was issued to you and you should be able to travel with it as long as it hasn't expired.

My student visa expires on December 2021 but college finished last month. Can I still travel to Canada with student visa to apply for pgwp? Or should I apply for pgwp from my country?
