I had an exam on April 8th, 2017.

Hi Folks,

I have taken IELTS General exam on April 8th, 2017. I feel it went well, but on another side, am confused. How about others, how you guys did yesterday?

I have given 2nd attempt back to back within a period of 14 days.
25 March & 08 April.
25 March result: LRWS 7.5 9.0 7.0 7.5
08 April result: awaited

Just curious to know why did u take ielts again, u got good marks... which might have been sufficient.

I got a similar result as kadian and took the test again because Listening killed around 40-50 CRS points.

when I secured 8.5 in listening I missed out in writing with 6.5
Once I secured 8.5 in writing but missed out in speaking with 6.5
Then I secured 7.5 in speaking but missed out in reading with 6.5
Last time I secured 9.0 in reading and missed out in Listening with 7.5

Beside above General attempts, I have also given Academic IELTS twice

So overall, I have achieved the following Maximum and Minimum bands in all four modules:-
Maximum L R W S :- 9.0 9.0 8.5 8.0
Minimum L R W S :- 7.5 6.5 6.0 6.5

I am in the same boat. Listening killed my otherwise good test as well. Now awaiting results for April 8th. Keeping my fingers crossed.. good luck

I have taken my First General exam on Feb 11th where I got the scores like

L- 6.0
R- 6.0
W- 7.0
S- 8.0

I had to take again on April 8th because of low scores. I don't know what's going to happen. But I believe that I need to take the exam again.
