I got sponsored last year, can i sponsor my parents now?

Hi there,

I got my permanent residence in May. I was sponsored by my common-law partner. Can I sponsor my parents to be permanent residents now or do I have to wait a certain amount of time. I know on CIC's is website, it says that someone whos sponsored has to wait 5 years to sponsor a partner or whatever but it doesn't say anything about parents. Can i?

There are no restrictions on sponsorship of parents just because you were sponsored.
