Dear respected friends

So yesterday Apr 19 at 10:59 PM I get my PPR email, you think I should be excited right? Well I am, but not very much. Here is why:

I am currently residing in the UK and was on a Tier 2 (work) visa. My visa expired on 15th December 2016 and since that time to 28th March 2017 I was waiting for the UK Home Office decision to renew my visa which was rejected because I overstayed for reasons beyond my control, which the Home Office didn't appreciate (they also retained my passport). On the 28th March I got my rejection letter asking me to leave the UK, which I was happy to do. The Home Office even booked my flight to my home country (which is great) and they will give me my passport in the airport. I am travelling from Heathrow on the 30th of April 2017.

Now that I got my unexpectedly quick PPR and a 30-day deadline (let's say 18th of May 2017) what should I do next? Shall I just inform CIC and/or London visa office that I've already booked my flight to my home country and attach the confirmed ticket so that they can re-evalute how I should send my passport? I mean even if I had my passport with me now and consideirng that I confirmed my flight 10 days is just not enough to stamp my passport with a PR visa and send it back before my flight!!

Or should I just go home and send it by the most expensive courier service to London and give my friend's address as the return address?

If you were me what would you do?! PLEASE PLEASE help with any useful thoughts and I promise a +1 for every single reply

Send a passionate appeal to LVO. I'm sure they will make an exception for you based on your peculiar circumstances

Raise a cse to Canada and send your passport to your home country for copr. If you are leaving on 30th April, you will reach your country in a day or 2 and you have enough time to post it to your home country

First of all, I hope CIC knows about this situation, if not you have to inform them about UK Tier-2 Work Visa Appeal and Home Office Decision.

In same CSE let them know that you will send passport in your home country.

CIC don't need to know about this rejection as it has happened POST eAPR. However when you do land in Canada and they ask, make sure you mention it with the details.

I love you kryt0n :-* :-*

I gave everyone +1 as promised

I forgot to say that there is no Canadian embassy in my home country (kind of ongoing civil war at the moment). If I inform LVO and the decide not to receive my passport, then Tunisia will be my next options

Guys should I just do nothing till I land back home, then inform them of the change in address (since I will have about 17 days to still send my passport)? Is there a point to let them know that I am travelling in 10 days and have a confirmed ticket and can't delay the flight?

My suggestion, raise a CSE now mentioning that you are due to travel to Libya and you will send your passport to Tunisia. Then take your flight to Libya as planned. Once you reach Libya, raise another CSE mentioning change in your address. Post the passport to Tunisia and wait. You have time until 18th may for the passport to reach Tunisia.

Thanks xpressentry, that's exactly what I'll do

IDK if its possible or not ?
to just send your passport with any friend to UK and he can send to stamp visa and return it to you so you can go ahead with Canada landing

If that's not possible then you have to raise a CSE and explain it all

Good luck Bro.

Hi Thanks for your suggestion, this was my second choice but after consultations I decided to raise a CSE and wait for their instructions

Hi guys

It's been six days since my email to London VO and my CSE regarding change in country of residence and hence possible change of visa office. There has been no response yet, should I wait longer or send a reminder?
