Some scammers commit fraud with your documents. Don't give them anything.

This is very fake. The website for this recruiting company has fake testimonials. The use of the term "monthly basic". The position is considered "critical".. etc.

You've already sent them your info so there's not much you can do now. Maybe you can record the next Skype interview..

Yes, they can use that information for identity theft. There's nothing you can do about this now. Just know that a real employer never asks for the passport or other sensitive documents before an offer is extended and accepted. The only time HR will ask you for passports etc. is after they have sent you a contract and you have signed it. Then they may need documents for a background check.

And when I say contract, I don't mean a fake contract. I mean you are convinced the company is real - you have received email from the company domain, the website is real etc.

In general, you should never believe anyone offering a random foreign citizen a job, especially one that pays so much. They are ALL scams.

If you are some sort of worldwide expert in your field, yes, you can get a job offer. But if you're at that level, you won't be contacted by shitty recruitment firms. I know a top level AI researcher from Europe who was hired by Microsoft Canada. He is literally one of 5-6 people in the world at that level.

Microsoft didn't go through a cheap recruiting firm..

Again, it's definitely a scam. There is absolutely no question that it's a scam. The letter is horribly written - no real Canadian job offer would ever be written that way.
