I came for a conference from a non visa-exempt country and have decided to stay in Canada and work.
pls house, what do i do.
i really want to live here.

Here's what you need to do:

1) Find an employer who is willing to hire you.

2) Your employer must then submit a Labour Market Opinion (LMO) to HRSDC:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp#tphp%20idtphp

3) Once HRSDC has approved the LMO, you must then apply for a temporary work permit:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/apply-how.asp

A bit more information would help us.
What is you current job, what skills do you have, how old are you, what is your education, what country are you from (citizen of), do you have family?

I am a chartered Accountant (ACA), a certified information system Auditor (CISA), an Accounting technician (AAT) and a graduate of Economics from the Lagos state University, Nigeria. I am 38 years old with over 10 yrs working experience as Internal Auditor, financial analyst and Accountant.

Thanks for the replies. i appreciate it so much.
But pls what are my chances. Are there any alternative to this suggestions.

No one can give you the detail about your "chances", if you are eligible, all you can do is try.

As you mentioned you came here fore a conference, what kind of visa did you come if its from a non-visa exempt country.
You mentioned you decided to stay here and work, how long do you want to work for? Are you thinking of working here illegally if work permit is not approved? or plan to go back to your country.
Do you want to stay here indefinately even after your visa expires?
