hello mr khan. according to the following webpage, http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/united_kingdom-royaume_uni/visas/processing-traitement.aspx, it take about 8 to 10 weeks to process a study permit application. did you receive an acknowledgment of receipt letter from CIC though after you submitted your application though?
