I am a grad student. I have been approved for H-1b to work in the US as well (for client visits), but I am yet to go to the US consulate for my H-1b stamping.
I am currently here on a study permit, which expires in a few months. My concern is that the visa officer might not stamp the H-1b on my passport, as I do not yet have a PWGP (which I understand I can apply only after receiving my final transcripts or a letter from my university stating that I've completed all requirements).
Is this a valid concern, or should I still be able to get H-1b stamped before applying for my PGWP?
Or instead, could I apply and get my PGWP approved early, BEFORE I get my H-1b stamped?
