Hello,

I am a US Citizen, my fiance is a Canadian Citizen. We want to get married in Canada and him move here to the States. Should I for-see any problem coming to Canada to get married?

Just make sure you carry with you evidence that you will go back to the US, for example a letter of leave from your employment. Something that shows you are not getting married, staying and then applying for PR.... (everything you say should be backed up with documents).

:-[ Oh that has confused me even more. You said "Something that shows you are not getting married, staying and then applying for PR"
But I am going there to get married? And I will not be on any kind of leave from work only taking vacation time. When I came back to the states
10 after getting married we will be applying from PR for my Husband to come here to the States.
When you say "everything you say should be backed up with documents", what documents? I thought I was being proactive in asking questions
as to not overlook something. Now I'm really concerned, documents, letters from my employer, I have always been told Canada is our Neighbors to
the North, it sounds like they don't want to let anyone in to even have our wedding there :'(

I don't think you have to worry about anything. I assume you have come to Canada many times for visits. Just come and go again as a visitor as you have been it should be fine. Visitors can stay up to 6 months without any issues so coming for a wedding and maybe even staying a while afterward should not be a problem.

Sorry, my mistake "Something that shows you are not staying and then applying for PR".

And yes, you are in "vacation leave", so you can just ask your employer for a letter of employment that specifies your vacation time and that you are expected to resume on a fixed date.
