I am French, do I have to take a test to prove that i do speak French ?

After some readings, I can't really figure out if I have to take a language test. I am 100 % French, bred in France, I have a Canadian master's degree from a french speaking university.
Do I still have to prove my ability to speak French by taking a $300 test ??

YES. I'm American and I had to take IELTS to prove that my English is fluent enough for immigration to Canada
