Is this called misrepresenting? My file was transferrred to LVO recently and I don't know what to do! :( Please help

That bit of missing information is actually something that needs to be corrected. Perhaps contacting LVO directly? Hopefully others here can provide some concrete suggestions.

I don't think it should be a matter of concern. If it was a Canadian Visa that had gotten rejected then yes, they would be concerned, but I don't think they need to know about the UK visa.

I don't know though... Maybe a more senior person can shed a light...

Yes, I think I will have to contact LVO, it was denied because of his bank statement he had £8000 in his bank account when he needed £10,000 that was the reason for refusal. I do not know what to do at this point :(

100% wrong. It's misrepresentation. If caught, the application will likely be refused and you may be looking at a 5 year ban from Canada for the applicant. The question doesn't ask about Canadian refusals. It asks about ALL refusals.

Email LVO and notify them of the error. Tell them you are sending a corrected form by mail. Re-do the impacted form (including original signatures) and mail it to LVO with a cover letter explaining the error.

Typo now corrected. Should have read "impacted form". Visa office contact info is on the CIC web site. Send a case specific inquiry.

No, it is a big deal. They want to know if the person has ever been rejected for any kind of visa to anywhere. CIC cares about this one a lot because it is an immigration issue.

Minor stuff that they don't care about are things like getting one of your exact addresses wrong in your address history or slightly mixing up some dates in your employment history. That is not an issue. Getting denied a visa and failing to disclose it... that is an issue.

Do I need to re-fill the impacted form which is the Schedule A: Background Declaration? I do not have a copy of it and we wrote estimates (dates) when he finished school college etc and the various addresses that he lived at, since I do not have the dates, I can mix them up and they will think that we are lying, argh I should have saved a copy of the form, I have saved all of the others except for this. Argh, please help, can I not just email them explaining that his student visa was denied once and it was due to him not having sufficient funds in his bank account. ARGH! I am so upset and feel so stupid for making a mistake like this.

Yes - you need to re-do the Schedule A form and re-sign. Emailing them is not enough.

Sorry, just read that I need to mail the form. Are slightly different dates okay in terms of education and addresses?
