For IELTS reading, make sure you calm down during the exam and practice. There are some basic rules for true, false, and not given questions. First, don't make an assumption about what has been illustrated in the passage. If the answer is true, it's usually clear from the passage. However, there is a thin line between false and not given. Try to get hard copies of IELTS reading materials, this will help you to trace answers with pen or pencils. Thank you

Start by reading the 1st and last paras of the writing and read them slowly with attention absorb and understand every word yohr can. If there is a word that you dont understand mark it and try to understand the context and guess the meaning
After that read the entire writing again
Read the first question which is always from the first para you will definitely get it if you dont or your dont understand the question leave it and move on wasting time isn't soemthing you can do
