Hi there,

My mom is visiting me in June. She will only be staying for a couple of weeks. I am looking to apply for multiple entry TRV. Back in 2010 the only thing that I included in her application was the invitation letter and supporting documents such as PR card & Driver's License and of course her documents.

I am confused with the new document list though. Since she is not applying for supervisa, do I still need to provide an invitation letter, income verification , T4, insurance, etc.?

Does it automatically considered supervisa application regardless of how long the person is staying?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you must provide an invitation letter + copies of your passport/immigration status. Financial documents of the host are not mandatory, but good to include for an immediate family member. Overseas travel medical insurance (not the super visa insurance) is advisable although not mandatory for the duration of her TRV visit.

Do go through the Visa Office instructions and Document Checklist for her country. You can include any other additional documents as necessary.

No, the application is not automatically considered for super visa. You must specifically select the 'Super visa' option in the application form + include the mandatory documents for a super visa
