Hi I am Canadian Citizen and working in overseas project and pay taxes in Canada. My wife is Permanent resident and want to stay with me in overseas as well. Is she eligible to apply after 3 years even she live with me? If anybody has an experience then please share. Thanks

It depends on how you are employed overseas. From the CIC website:

Can I count any time I’ve spent outside of Canada toward the residence requirement?

Only in certain circumstances. You can count time spent outside Canada toward the residence requirement for a grant of citizenship if you spent the time with a spouse who is a Canadian citizen working at that time with the:

•federal public administration of Canada;
•public service of a province; or
•Canadian armed forces.

Your wife has to live in Canada for the required period of time (1095 days) in order to apply for citizenship, unless you are in one of the jobs specified by Scylla!
