During the physical exam yesterday October 27, I admitted to have smoked marijuana in the past to the doctor examining me. I regret doing this because it led to them telling me that I needed to get a psychiatric evaluation. Couldn't do much at that point so I just did what they asked and finished my medical exam. Not sure what my dumb brain was thinking the moment I told the truth, but it wasn't in my nature to lie. Now I am just waiting and feeling super anxious about all of this.

I was just wondering if anybody else had a similar experience? how did it go for you?

And what country is this in that said you needed a psychiatric evaluation?
You do realize it’s legal to smoke pot in Canada?

Smoking marijuana shouldn't be a problem for your medical & its legal in Canada. Im just confused as to why the doctor said you needed the psychiatric evaluation . Could it be your family history or maybe you were showing sign of something
... just a thought

It seems like money grab happening to applicants in Philippines. There was another applicant faced similar thing and his visa was approved. Don't worry, you are good.

There are many processes in the PH that are money grabs but in this case I don't think so. The Doc should be going by the guides set out by IRCC, maybe they haven't updated their guide lines regarding pot??
