I had a citizenship test (passed! 20/20 :) ) and an interview with an officer today, and he pointed out a few discrepancies between the travel dates I put on the presence calculator form and the records they have.
Turns out, they don't have records of 3 of my trips to the USA. They are not long - two overnight and one 2-days. I kept a spreadsheet with all my trips since I landed in Canada, and got all my dates to the calculator from there.
The officer asked me to print out and mail them my I-94 travel history, which I did, but it also doesn't have any records for these days!
I searched my email and found bus tickets for two of these trips (I went from Vancouver to Seattle and back), but nothing for the third one. I printed out the tickets, wrote a letter explaining that the third trip could be a mistake in my records (I don't think it's likely, but I don't have any recollection of that trip, so it's possible) and mailed everything to the officer.

Has anyone been in this situation? How important is this? It's not as bad as if I forgot to put some trips on the application, right?
I'm just worried that this might delay my application.
Please share your thoughts/experience.

Cheers

How many days have you mentioned in the your residency calculator (physical presence calculator)? Means how much buffer did you give?

I94 usually does not have complete records. It happened to me as well. My i94 was missing some entries. When I ordered CBP records, I got the complete records. I had requested these records for my personal reference.

Use the following link and submit the request:
https://foiaonline.regulations.gov/foia/action/public/request/publicPreCreate

Make sure you create an account else you won't receive the data. Don't do guest checkout. Make sure you mention the details of all the travel documents you have used like passports, nexus etc..
You will receive the report in few days and may take many months. For myself, it took approx 3 weeks for some people in this forum it took less than 2 weeks and for some people it took months.

I suppose you were given a timeframe to submit these documents and hopefully you can obtain it before the deadline. If not, you can still send your i94 records with an explanation letter.

Good luck!

thanks for your reply thecoolguysam

I already sent my I-94 with explanation and copies of travel docs. Will be waiting for their decision or request for additional documents.
