I had a citizenship test (passed! 20/20 ) and an interview with an officer today, and he pointed out a few discrepancies between the travel dates I put on the presence calculator form and the records they have.
Turns out, they don't have records of 3 of my trips to the USA. They are not long - two overnight and one 2-days. I kept a spreadsheet with all my trips since I landed in Canada, and got all my dates to the calculator from there.
The officer asked me to print out and mail them my I-94 travel history, which I did, but it also doesn't have any records for these days!
I searched my email and found bus tickets for two of these trips (I went from Vancouver to Seattle and back), but nothing for the third one. I printed out the tickets, wrote a letter explaining that the third trip could be a mistake in my records (I don't think it's likely, but I don't have any recollection of that trip, so it's possible) and mailed everything to the officer.
Has anyone been in this situation? How important is this? It's not as bad as if I forgot to put some trips on the application, right?
I'm just worried that this might delay my application.
Please share your thoughts/experience.
Cheers
