husband's work permit expiring

my husband's work permit is expiring on june 25, 2015 and he's from nepal, but we had applied for the express entry and all documents had submitted already. we want to apply for extension of his work permit while waiting for the results of the express entry. can someone tell me which one is the best thing to do? i had called CIC but unlucky. can i apply open work permit for him? mine is expiring on september 17, 2015. or what abo=ut the bridging open work permit>? thanks

He can't apply to extend his work permit without being selected from the express entry pool and receiving AOR. Applying for express entry alone isn't enough. If he doesn't have AOR by the time his work permit expires then he will need an approved LMIA to extend his work permit.

our EE is on process already. medical quoted "passed". how about the open work permit under my me?
