Hi,

Could anybody tell me how much funds should be mention in Express entry profile application for a family of 3 people.

Husband, Wife and a kid.

On cic, it is 18,825$

I put 20,000$ is this sufficient?

Yes, 20,000$ will be sufficient.
You can put any number above 18,825$. CIC only wants to know if you have the 'minimum' amount of fund available to start your life in Canada.
The extra amount does not give you any 'advantage'if that is something you are thinking about.
Remember, you will have to show that exact amount of fund held in your name in a POF when you apply with an ITA.
